Events in a Space
What it is #
Plaazaa Events is the Space's calendar: the village meeting, free vaccinations, a clean-up day, the festival. Every Space with events has an Events tab and an Events card on its Home.
- Anyone who can see the Space can see its events. Only members can reply. Open the Space and press Join first.
- Events stay in their Space. They do not show in Posts or in anyone's news feed.
- Times are Thai time.
Reply #
Every event asks Going, Maybe or Can't go. Tap one. Tap it again to take your reply back. You can change it until the event ends.
- Some events have limited places ("28 of 40 places taken"). When it is full, Going closes, but Maybe still works. If someone changes to Can't go, a place opens again.
- The organiser is counted as going.
Reading the card #

| TODAY · in 3 hrs / TOMORROW / IN 5 DAYS | How soon it starts. Happening now while it runs. |
| CANCELLED | It will not happen. The note from the organiser shows on the card. |
| ENDED | It is over (find it under Past). |
| 6 going · 2 maybe | How many replied. Faces show unless the organiser hid the names. |
💬 Details opens the event with its description, a small map (when it has a pin), See who's going and the comments.
Find events #
- Upcoming — everything still to come, by day, today first.
- This week · Official · Past · 🙋 Going (the ones you replied Going or Maybe to, and your own).
- ☰ List / ▦ Month — Month shows a calendar. On a phone, the month's events are listed under the calendar. Your choice is kept on your phone or computer.
- 🔍 searches names, places and details.
Add to your calendar #
Press 📆 Add to calendar:
- Google Calendar opens Google with the event filled in.
- Apple / Outlook (.ics) downloads a file. Open it to add the event to the calendar on your phone or computer.
Create an event #
- In the Events tab press ＋ Create event (also on the Space's Home).
- Write the name, pick the date, start and end time (or All day).
- Add the place. 📍 Add a map pin lets people find it on a map (optional).
- Add details and a cover photo if you like.
- Choose:
- Ask people to reply — Going · Maybe · Can't go.
- Limit places — when full, Going closes.
- Show who's going — off = only numbers are shown.
- Press Create event.
💡 ⋯ on your own event → Edit event, Cancel event or Delete event. A new time or place, and a cancellation, are sent to everyone who replied Going or Maybe.
⚠️ Some Spaces let only their managers create events. Then the ＋ Create event button is not shown to members.
Notifications #
- The Space posts an official event → every member gets 📅.
- You replied Going → a reminder the day before (from 18:00) and about an hour before.
- An event you replied Going or Maybe to changes time or place, or is cancelled → you are told.
Tap the notification to open the event in its Space.
