Events for Space managers

Who can do what #

💡 A screen to add more event managers comes with Manage → Tools. Until then ask the Plaazaa team.

Official events #

In ＋ Create event managers see ★ Official event. An official event:

• is posted as the Space (its name and picture, not yours),
• gets the ★ badge and the amber date,
• is sent to every member as a notification 📅 within a few minutes.

⚠️ Every member is told — use it for things the whole Space should know: meetings, services, closures, festivals.

Edit, cancel, delete #

⋯ on an event:

• Edit event — change anything until it ends. A new time or place is sent to everyone who replied Going or Maybe; reminders are sent again for the new time.
• Cancel event — you can add a short note ("rain, new date soon"). The event stays in the list, struck through, until its date. Going + Maybe are told.
• Delete event — removes it with all replies and comments. Prefer Cancel when people already replied.

Who is coming #

💬 Details → See who's going lists Going, Maybe and Can't go with names. When the organiser turned Show who's going off, only the organiser and managers see the names (🔒 note); members see numbers only.

With Limit places, the card shows "28 of 40 places taken". When it is full, Going closes for new people; the server checks it, so two people cannot take the last place at once.

Event settings #

In the Events tab bar press ⚙️ Event settings (Space owner and admins only). It will also be listed under Manage → Tools.

Where events show #

• The Events tab (List and Month), the Events card on Home, the numbers in the Space header.
• Notifications as above.
• Not in Posts or news feeds. A link to an event opens it in the Events tab.
