Plaazaa AI — setup for admins

For super-admins. Open /pz-admin/ai/ (ask for the link if you do not have it). Only super-admins who are Plaazaa admins can open it.

Connection #

• Service address and API key: the key is stored on the server outside the website files. The screen shows only the last 4 characters. To change it, type a new key in the Replace key field; leave it empty to keep the old one.
• Default model: a list filled live from the AI service.
• Press Test connection. It lists the models, sends one short chat and shows the time and tokens. ✅ Ready means it works; ❌ shows the reason (key refused, quota reached, timeout).

⚠️ The AI account is shared with other sites. If it runs out of quota members see "AI is busy". Posting is never blocked.

Features and who can use them #

For each feature: On/Off, an optional model for that feature, and who can use it: Admins + members I allow (default), Admins only or All members. Super-admins and Plaazaa admins/moderators always have access.

The four AI features #

Each has its own On/Off, model and who-can-use setting: Tidy, Spelling & tone, Translate posts and comments and Caption from photo. Caption needs a model that can read images; the default model (gemma4:31b) can. If you ever change it to a text-only model, set a vision model on the Caption line.

Translations are saved in a table (shown under Usage as "Translations saved"). A saved translation costs no AI call and does not count against the member's limit; a post that is edited is translated again.

Allow members #

Search a member by name, username or email, press Allow. Press Remove to take access away. Members without access see no AI entries and the AI refuses their requests.

Limits #

Uses per member per day (default 30) and uses for the whole site per day (default 2,000); 0 = no limit. A day runs on Bangkok time. Tick Super-admins and the admin team have no limit to keep admins unlimited.

Usage #

Today and the last 7 days: uses, members, tokens and failures.

Privacy #

AI runs only when a member presses a button. The text of that post is sent to the AI service. Mention this in the privacy page.

WoWonder's own AI #

The older AI items in the post box (AI image, AI post) are separate and unchanged.
